Planting Directions for Posy
Power™*
Outdoor flower beds
Existing Flower bed:
2 inches of Posy Power™ tilled into
4-6 inches of existing soil
New Flower bed: 4
inches of Posy Power™ tilled into 4-6 inches of existing soil
Other tips:
Add 1-2 inches of Posy Power on
top of the flower bed in late fall every year to take advantage of
winter freeze and thaw.
Indoor or
container plants
1 gallon or smaller pots:
80% good potting soil/up to 20% Posy
Power™
Over 1 gallon to 15 pots: 70%
good potting soil/up to 30% Posy Power™
Over 15 gallon pots:
65% good potting soil/up to 35% Posy Power™
Lawns
New lawn: Make
sure all vegetation is dead. Till 2-4 inches of Posy Power™ in 6-8
inches of soil. Water soil until settled, but not packed. Freeze
seed overnight, then spread according to seed instructions. You may
top dress with another 1/4" of Posy Power™ over seed and keep
watered.
Existing lawn:
Top dress 1/2"-1" of Posy Power™ over top of grass annually in late
Fall. You may also add 1/4"-1/2" of Posy Power™ during Spring,
Summer, or early Fall. May apply during the hot, dry season to
prevent burnout spots.
*These are suggested
planting methods. Each plant species may require some additional
product. Posy Power has an approximate PH of 7.0. If planting acid
requiring plants such as Azaleas or Rhododendron, do not forget to
add required acid for lowering PH.
